AdLess
A lean ad blocker that rejects cookie banners and shows exactly what it blocked.
AdLess blocks ads, trackers and annoyances in Chrome and Edge, answers cookie banners with “reject” on its own and lists every blocked address per page. Its own filter list fixes sites in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from user reports – updated twice a day, without a new version of the extension.

How it’s built
AdLess is a Manifest V3 extension built with WXT, TypeScript and Preact. Blocking runs on the filtering engine of uBlock Origin Lite: the browser itself applies the rules (declarativeNetRequest), so pages stay fast. Cookie banners are handled with DuckDuckGo’s autoconsent, and AdLess compiles its own filter list into browser rules and CSS itself, so it works without extra permissions.
