TCplup – Plugin updater for Total Commander
Keeps your Total Commander plugins up to date – from totalcmd.net, ghisler.com and GitHub.
TCplup reads the list of your plugins, looks for newer versions and installs them with one click – while Total Commander keeps running.
What is TCplup?
TCplup reads the list of your plugins from wincmd.ini or from the whole plugin folder, looks for newer versions on totalcmd.net, in the plugin tables of ghisler.com and in the releases of a GitHub repository, and installs them – while Total Commander keeps running. The plugins are grouped by type – Lister, Content, Packer and File system – with updates first.
Checksums are verified, plugins in use are renamed instead of overwritten, and your .ini files stay. You can update everything, only the selected plugins, skip a version or put a plugin on the ignore list.

How it’s built
TCplup is written in C# for the .NET Framework that ships with Windows, compiled with nothing but the built-in compiler. It reads wincmd.ini (also when its sections are moved to another file), parses the plugin pages of totalcmd.net and the tables of ghisler.com, and installs ZIP, 7z and RAR archives. Its Fluent-style window is drawn by hand with GDI+, and self-updates are verified with a minisign signature.
