Mowl
A minimalist WYSIWYG Markdown editor with full right-to-left support.
Type Markdown and see it formatted inline, Typora-style. Powerful enough for real writing – tables, math, code, footnotes and right-to-left text for Persian, Arabic and Hebrew – yet a single ~7 MB program that starts instantly.

One executable, one hand-editable settings.toml next to it.
How it’s built
Mowl is built on Tauri 2: a Rust core and the operating system’s own WebView instead of a bundled Chromium. The editor is Milkdown Crepe on top of ProseMirror. That keeps the whole app at about 7 MB and lets it run on Windows, macOS and Linux, on x64 and ARM64.
