Total Commander Plugins
Three Lister plugins for Total Commander: Markdown, structured data and e-books at the press of F3.
MowlView shows Markdown, R Markdown, Quarto, Jupyter notebooks and Gemtext formatted – with tables, code, images, links and right-to-left text – or as source code with syntax highlighting.
TreeView opens XML, JSON, YAML, TOML and .reg files as a tree, a nested grid or formatted source, copies values, XPath or JSONPath and still shows broken files up to the error.
eReader reads PDF, EPUB, FB2, MOBI/AZW3 and CBZ – with table of contents, links, text search and thumbnails, fast and with little memory.
All three for 32 and 64 bit, in English and German, with light and dark design.

How it’s built
The plugins are written in C++ against the plain Win32 API, without frameworks or runtimes: their own parsers for Markdown, XML, JSON, YAML, TOML, PDF, EPUB and MOBI, their own layout engine for text, and GDI drawing in the Windows 11 style. eReader hands PDF pages to the PDF engine built into Windows and renders them on a background thread.
